Bullfighter doll from Spain, made by Roldan according to the remains of his original paper tag attached to the hip. He is holding two lances, indicating that he is actually a picador, the person that stabs the bull. Made of cloth over wire. Wearing the traditional costume traje de luces (suit of lights), decorated with many tiny sequins, gold ribbon and lots of black lace. Overall discolored with age. Also some wear to the fabric near the mouth and between the legs.
