These dolls are part of a series of more than 100 dolls, all dressed differently in authentic Dutch regional costumes, often carrying little attributes like baskets, flowers and so on. They are standing on their own brown plastic or wooden nameplates. It is a fantastic series and it is not easy to find them all.
Two Dutch dolls, both dressed in traditional costumes of the Limburg province. The female is dressed in the costume of Stein. She wears a red underskirt. The male represents a mine-worker and carries a lamp. They are plastic dolls standing on their hard plastic and thin plastic nameplates marked 'Limburg' and 'Stein (L)'. The thin plastic nameplate has a little damage to one front corner, fine otherwise.
