Two French national costume dolls of the same type. On the left dressed in pink is a doll from the Languedoc area in southern France. On the right is a doll from Les Sables-d'Olonne which is located at the sea side on the west coast. Eyes open and close, movable head and limbs. Costumes made of shiny satin type fabrics. The Languedoc doll is missing a finger from her right hand, otherwise the dolls are mint. A little paper tag sticking out of the shawl reads 'Languedoc', the other doll has no marks or tags. Sold together as a pair.
