This is a hard plastic doll with molded hair and eyes that open and close, no visible marks. Moveable limbs. She is wearing the traditional sunday costume of the Friesland province. Under the bonnet is a golden casque or 'oorijzer' (simulated by gold paper), a form that has evolved from a simple clasp with 2 knobs pressed against the cheeks to a helmet type casque, to show the wealth of the owner. A bag and a pair of scissors are attached to the waist. Wooden cloggs. A little wobbly but still able to stand on her own.
