Nice doll from the Philippines, a lady wearing the baro't saya, the national dress influenced by Spanish colonisation. She is a cloth over wire doll with a pressed material face. Note the high heeled shoes. She is carrying a folded mat on her head, the mat is called banig and is used as floor mat or sleeping mat.
