This is smaller model of a Russian tea cosy or teapot cover doll. She has the original label attached to the inside of her dress. It reads 'Grelka Devushka V Sarafane' with means something like 'Warming Lady in Sarafan'. A sarafan is a long A-line jumper style dress worn over a rubakha or blouse/shirt. That is exactly how this folk doll is dressed. Her sarafan is decorated with gold ribbons. Her head and hands are made of plastic, her lower body is made of thick padded stuffed fabric. There are a few tiny brown spots on the back of her left sleeve but apart from that she is in good clean vintage condition.
