This is an unusual white skinned doll from Suriname, a former Dutch colony in South America. Wearing traditional koto dress that was developed during the slavery period. Ladies wearing a koto are called kotomisi (misi means Mrs. or missis). Made of plastic with a coneshaped lower body made of foam, no legs. Missing one ribbon from the back, fine otherwise.
