Little doll representing the Himba people living in the Kunene region in northern Namibia. The Himba women cover themselves with a mixture of butterfat, ochre pigment and aromatic herbs to protect themselves from the sun, this mixture is called otjize. They dress in leather (calf or sheep) and textile that is treated with ochre as well.
