Beautiful hilltribe doll representing the Lahu people. The Lahu live in Thailand, China, Burma (Myanmar), Laos and Vietnam. This doll is made in Thailand and has porcelain head, hands and feet. The rest of her body is firmly stuffed cloth. Moveable limbs, the head is rigid. Her traditional costume is outstanding, made with great care and with lots of jewellery and decorations. Condition is absolutely mint. Her metal stand is included in this sale. Size 34 cm/13,5 inches. No marks or label but this doll is designed by Vanida S. Mongkhon and handmade by Youthana Boonprakong.
