This is a lovely little costume doll from the Setesdal area in Norway. She is made by the famous dollmaker Ronnaug Pettersen but has no visible marks or labels. The doll is made of a very light material, probably celluloid. Painted feet, mohair wig, skirt is made of felt. Her white cotton blouse has yellowed with age. There are several mothholes in the red felt and there is slight fading to the front. Size 18 cm/7 inches. More pictures below.
