Charming old pair of dolls marked 'Lassie' and Lassie Boy'. Wearing the traditional costume of the famous fishingtown Volendam near the IJsselmeer in The Netherlands. They are made of painted paper maché with bodies that are firmly stuffed with straw. Moveable heads and limbs. They both wear wooden cloggs. Very good condition with a little discoloration of the white fabrics due to age. Size around 22 cm/8,5 inches. More pictures below.
