This is a hard to find doll from Bangladesh holding a clay jug. Made of cloth over wire, her face is molded and covered with fabric. She is wearing a thin dark blue/purple sari edged with red. Underneath her sari is a shortsleeved red top with white polkadots and a plain red skirt. She is barefoot and fixed onto a wooden stand marked with handwriting 'Lady, Clay Water Jug'. She has a necklace and bracelets around both wrists. Metal loop earrings. This brightly colored doll is in wonderful condition but the jug has a few small chips along the top edge. Size including stand 32 cm/12,5 inches.
