This asian doll represents the Yao people, a hilltribe living in Thailand. Members of the Yao ethnic group also live in China, Vietnam and Laos. This doll however was made in Thailand and is dressed very authenticly. She is entirely made of stuffed cloth with moveable jointed limbs. Wonderful wool thread decoration. She has round metal ornaments on the apron and sleeves. Metal earrings with a little bell. Size 40 cm/16 inches. Very good condition and bright colored. She needs help to stand.
