This male doll made by Dovina is so handsome! He is dressed in the traditional costume of the famous fishingtown Volendam near the IJsselmeer in The Netherlands. Never removed from cardboard box. Wooden shoes/cloggs. Mint condition. Size 25 cm/10 inches including hat. With 'Philips' label sewn to the back of his trousers, he could have been a relation gift once. The box has a sticker 'Dovina, Rotterdam - Holland' on the lid and 'Volendam' elsewhere printed on. The doll is made of lightweight material and has moveable limbs, his head is rigid.
