A Dovina doll made of rubber is a rare find. This doll is representing Scheveningen (a fishing town at the North Sea cost) in the Zuid-Holland province in The Netherlands. She is a fisher woman wearing working clothes with wooden cloggs. Size 30 cm/12 inches. With original label 'Dovina Rotterdam - Holland'. The rubber has aged over time and therefore she looks a bit deformed. Here clothes are in good shape. This doll dates from the 1950's or 1960's and still is charming. More pictures below.
