This national costume doll is from the Dolj District in Romania. Wearing a very detailed costume with machine embroidered patterns on skirt and coat. Painted decoration is on the headscarf. There are many little sequins on the sleeves. She is fixed onto a wooden stand marked 'Romania' and she still has her original paper label. Size 22 cm/8,5 inches including stand. Very good condition with very minor overall yellowing from age. More pictures below.
