This is a doll dressed in the traditional sunday costume of Tholen in the Zeeland province in The Netherlands. She is wearing a jacket, skirt and apron, all in black. The shawl is also black but with thin sparks of silver. The bonnet is made of lovely lace and thin see-through fabric. A white satin underskirt and white cotton tricot knickers complete her outfit. Black plastic shoes. Velvet bag. Head made of vinyl with eyes that open and close, the rest of her body is harder plastic. Size 30 cm/12 inches. Very good condition. No marks. More pictures below.
