Doll from the Mehedinti County in Romania, without marks or labels. She is a very attractive older doll, with a head made of paper maché (or composition?) that is painted, her hands are made of the same material. Her body and limbs are made of firmly stuffed fabric, her limbs are jointed and moveable, attached by metal wire. Her hair is in two braids tied together at the back of her head. Her blouse and skirt are decorated with machine embroidery and sequins. Her condition is good considering she has quite some age. There is a small hairline in the paint of her face, on her forehead going to the right eye but you'd have to look very close to notice. The whites of her costume have discolored a bit over the years. A doll to fall in love with! Size 32 cm/12,5 inches.
